In May this year, the Government of Estonia opened a pick-up point for its e-Residency ID cards in Johannesburg, making e-Residency a viable option for South Africans to establish and run EU-based companies 100% online and from distance. Thus far 84,000 people worldwide have signed up for Estonia’s e-Residency. Mats Kuuskemaa, Head of Business Strategy at e-Residency will explain the application process and benefits of e-Residency for entrepreneurs in South Africa.
