About me
I'm Luke Seelenbinder, a South Carolinian by birth and an entrepreneur by heart. My journey into the world of entrepreneurship started with a fascination for software and it's potential to earn income online. Before I even completed my computer science degree, I had already dipped my toes into multiple startup ventures.
However, it was my passion for European exploration that eventually led me to settle in Switzerland. It was during this time that I stumbled upon Estonian e-Residency, drawn in by the government's innovative approach to digital services and business support. After becoming enamored with Estonia's entrepreneurial ecosystem and culture, I made the leap to move there. Embracing e-Residency as a central pillar of my business endeavors, I've been involved in multiple ventures within the Estonian framework.
Through my Estonian company, Funktional OÜ, I've established a stable base for managing my personal income. With Funktional OÜ handling tax compliance, salary payments, and other administrative tasks, I've been able to focus more on growing my ventures and navigating the complexities of international business.
When I'm not immersed in code or strategizing for my companies, you'll likely find me amidst the Swiss Alps, savoring a meticulously brewed cup of coffee, or embarking on extensive cycling or hiking expeditions. And yes, I often combine all these passions simultaneously.

2015
I became an e-resident
I discovered e-Residency online, and was immediately intrigued by the idea of a country innovating by offering their services to non-residents so easily. I signed up just to support the idea—and then a few years used it to create my first European business.
2018
I registered my first company as an e-resident
I was relocating from the US to Switzerland, and wanted a simple, cash efficient way to continue billing my consulting clients around the world.
