Get to know entrepreneur Dylan Hey, one of the co-hosts of Winning Friends, a podcast powered by e-Residency
Dylan Hey is a name that resonates in the SaaS marketing world.
As the CEO and co-founder of performance marketing agency Hey Digital, Dylan has carved a niche by helping SaaS companies grow through creative strategies.
What started as a small setup in 2018 has grown into a booming business with 44 team members spread across 22 countries, over €3 million in annual revenue, and an impressive client portfolio.
Hey Digital has partnered with over 150 SaaS brands, including notable names like Hotjar and Pitch, and in 2022 was recognised as the second fastest-growing company in Estonia.
While Dylan admits that intentional business building and competition are big parts of his identity, first and foremost he’s a family man.
“I’d say I’m a thoughtful person who values family above all,” he says. “It’s wonderful being recognised professionally, but I recently became a dad and that’s probably my biggest achievement so far.”
Born in the UK, Dylan Hey first visited Estonia around 2014 as part of the English national taekwondo team competing in the European Championships.
After spending time travelling across Europe as a digital nomad, he decided to settle in Estonia in August 2019, drawn by its supportive environment for entrepreneurs and innovative e-Residency program.
“Being involved in competitive sport gave me a taste for success and sparked my ambition,” says Dylan. “It made the transition into sales roles smooth, and after working at two very different SaaS companies, I decided to launch my own agency focussing on this market.”
Estonia’s vibrant business landscape provided Dylan with the infrastructure to launch and grow his performance marketing agency as well as a collaborative business culture and community of like-minded professionals.
It was in this dynamic environment that he met his co-host, Logan Merrick, marking a significant chapter in his entrepreneurial journey.
Dylan knows that real connections lead to real results. After seven years, he’s seen clients old and new continue to make new introductions and support in his business growth. Now, he’s ready to pass those learnings on.
