About me

I'm Dr. Rosen Dimov, a transdisciplinary scholar with a diverse background in international business law and EU studies, which led me to a Marie Curie PhD and early-stage research in innovation management. My career includes experience in policy making and governance, having worked at the European Parliament, the European Commission, and the World Bank Institute.

In the consultancy field, I've supported the interest representation and international cooperation of innovative small businesses across Europe and Turkey. During my nearly five years in Istanbul, I managed projects aimed at integrating Turkey into the EU market, facilitating the exchange of best practices among innovation stakeholders.

My voluntary work includes contributions to the Community Volunteers Foundation, Laughter Heals, European Alternatives, and the Euphrates Institute. As President of IYPF Australia, I helped establish the World Alliance for Efficient Solutions, which, with EU support, identified and funded 1000 solutions for green transition. Additionally, I served as Vice President of EERICA, the chamber for e-residents, promoting digital democracy and business.

Currently, I live, work, and teach in Hungary, continuing my commitment to fostering innovation and sustainable development through education and collaboration.

"After several years of contributing to the e-Residency community in various roles (entrepreneur, board member of the e-residents chamber EERICA, business angel in Estonia) I am more than convinced that Estonia does not only have the determination but also the resources to establish itself as the global digital hub for all innovators! I am happy to be part of this journey, now as an Envoy!"

I had been following the e-residency before that but Covid-19 was the push for me to make the final decision and apply.

2020

Seamless, quick and easy, took me less than an hour. My business idea was clear, I had a business plan in place so I had to simply copy paste in the application form.
